Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) expanded its efforts during the 1447 AH Hajj season to include the operation and support of 75 sites in the holy sites, and 14 screening sites and security control centers. According to Saudi Press Agency, the efforts included providing technical systems and services, supervising infrastructure and communications rooms, equipping workstations, and connecting them to SDAIA's network, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and other entities serving pilgrims. The operations also included preventive maintenance, receiving technical reports and handling them immediately, and training participating personnel on modern systems and digital platforms. These efforts enhance the efficiency of operational processes and increase the readiness of field sites during the Hajj season. The initiatives form part of an integrated technical system implemented by SDAIA in cooperation with relevant government entities through the utilization of data and AI technologies to su pport services provided to pilgrims and enhance operational flow and technical readiness across the holy sites and related entry points.
