Healthy Hajj Campaign Monitors Diabetic Pilgrims with Smart Technologies during Rituals

Riyadh: The Health Holding Company and its affiliated health clusters distributed continuous glucose monitoring sensors to diabetic pilgrims as part of the Healthy Hajj campaign during Hajj season 1447 AH, to enhance the safety of diabetic pilgrims in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program, both under Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative, implemented in partnership with all 20 health clusters and private-sector entities, installed more than 3,036 glucose sensors for domestic diabetic pilgrims, leveraging modern technologies to improve the pilgrim experience and raise health service quality.

The campaign targets more than 160,000 pilgrims from across the Kingdom. Its first edition last year benefited more than 123,000 pilgrims and conducted over 224,000 screenings through the 20 health clusters.
