Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Environment Fund on the sidelines of LEAP25, aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two sides in the field of data, AI, and the technologies supporting them. The MoU also seeks to support research, development, and innovation efforts in the environmental sector by harnessing data and the latest AI tools.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum aims to boost cooperation in developing data-driven and AI-powered products and services and innovative business models that support the Environment Fund's efforts through AI applications and data technologies. It also focuses on achieving technological integration and data connection between the two sides to drive environmental sustainability.
The MoU includes exploring ways to develop scalable technology solutions using data and AI to promote eco-friendly practices among individuals, economic sectors, and environmental organizations in the Kingdom via utilizing the latest advanced technological solutions.
