SDAIA Concludes AI Application Engineering Bootcamp for Saudi Students at Oxford

General

London: The AI Application Engineering Bootcamp, launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), concluded yesterday in London, with the participation of 30 male and female university graduates from Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the bootcamp aimed to qualify bachelor's and master's graduates in artificial intelligence (AI), computer science, and related fields. Under the supervision of international experts, participants were equipped with advanced skills in deep learning, computer vision, and generative models, empowering them to design, develop, and implement AI models effectively across various work environments.

The program was held over three weeks, during which the trainees gained practical experience in using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, computer vision applications such as YOLO, and natural language processing (NLP) and generative models on HuggingFace.

This bootcamp is a key part of SDAIA's ongoing efforts to enable and qualify national talent in advanced AI specializations through collaboration with leading global universities. The strategic initiative enhances the readiness of Saudi youth to compete globally in modern technology fields and directly supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 toward building a sophisticated knowledge society.
