SBA Chief and Sri Lankan Ambassador Discuss Media Collaboration

Riyadh: Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Alharthi received Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Saudi Arabia Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad. During the meeting, the two officials explored avenues for bilateral cooperation in the media sector, particularly in television and program production, content exchange, and media expertise sharing. They also discussed opportunities for joint media training between the two countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides agreed on SBA's participation through several of its programs to help introduce the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sri Lankan people, highlighting its ambitious vision and future projects, thereby strengthening cultural ties between the two friendly nations.

The discussions also touched on the Sri Lankan Embassy's participation in the upcoming edition of the Saudi Media Forum, and emphasized the importance of enhancing the forum's international presence, as it is the largest media event in the region.
