The Saudi youth handball team achieved a historic milestone by qualifying for the second round of the IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship with an impressive victory over the United States, securing a scoreline of 43-14. The match took place today at the Marino Cvetkovic Sports Hall in Opatija, Croatia.
This qualification is a momentous achievement for the Saudi team as it marks its first-ever advancement to the second round in the handball World Championships, across all categories. Joining it in the second round is the Group G leader, Germany. The Saudi team secured the second position with 3 points, drawing with the Argentinean team and securing a victory against the United States team.
