Riyadh: The Saudi Water Authority concluded its participation in the second edition of the Hajj Media Hub 1446 AH, during which it presented a comprehensive view of the Kingdom's water system and its integration, as one of the main pillars in serving pilgrims. The authority highlighted its high readiness and the full integration of its operational services during the world's largest Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a unique interactive experience titled 'The Story of Water in Hajj' was presented, showcasing the complete water supply chain, from seawater desalination to transportation and treatment, and ending with distribution, reuse, and irrigation. The diverse content was offered in multiple languages to reach a broad international audience.
Through precise visual and data-driven content, the pavilion highlighted key projects and initiatives implemented for the season. It featured the latest technologies used in desalination, storage, transportation, and treatment, in addition to smart operation and environmental sustainability technologies.
