London: Some 30 Saudi university graduates arrived today in London for the AI Engineering Bootcamp, a collaboration between the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and the University of Oxford, running until October 9, 2025.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program targets bachelor's and master's graduates in AI and computer science. It provides advanced skills in computer vision, deep learning, and generative models with guidance from international experts.
The boot camp consists of two phases: the first was conducted remotely, while the current three-week phase is held at Oxford University. Participants will gain hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, along with technologies such as YOLO and Hugging Face.
This initiative supports SDAIA's mission to enhance national capabilities in AI and aligns with the digital transformation objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, ensuring Saudi graduates are globally competitive.
