Saudi Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Conference Begins in Riyadh

Riyadh: The 16th conference of the Saudi Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (SSDDS) began yesterday under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health, with the participation of a distinguished group of physicians and consultants specializing in dermatology and dermatologic surgery from both inside and outside the Kingdom. The event is being held at the Crowne Plaza RDC Hotel in Riyadh on April 25 and 26.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference features a comprehensive scientific program including panel discussions, specialized lectures, and training workshops aimed at discussing the latest scientific developments and modern technologies in the fields of dermatology, aesthetics, and laser treatments.

The two-day conference is regarded as a prestigious scientific platform that contributes to enhancing communication and knowledge exchange among specialists. One of its key highlights is the announcement of Riyadh's Bid to host the World Congress of Dermatology (WCD) in 2031, a step that reflects the Kingdom's growing stature in the medical and scientific fields and aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The SSDDS affirmed its commitment to providing an inspiring scientific environment and organizing an effective event that meets the aspirations of participants and enhances the intellectual value of the conference as a national and international platform in the field of dermatology.
