Saudi Scouts Prepare for World Scout Moot in Portugal

Jeddah: The General Secretariat of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association held a virtual preparatory meeting yesterday for participants in the 16th World Scout Moot (Moot 16), which Portugal will host from July 25 to August 3. During the meeting, Secretary-General Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudaris emphasized the importance of representing the Kingdom honorably at this global event. He highlighted the need to promote cultural exchange, foster friendship among youth worldwide, and broaden participants' horizons through international scouting experiences, enhancing their leadership and service skills.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting included presentations on the Moot's key themes. The first part of the event, "Paths," involves international teams engaged in exploratory and community service programs lasting five days. Participants will then proceed to the Main Camp, featuring cultural and educational activities, workshops, and concluding with an official ceremony in Porto.
