Jakarta: The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association delegation has concluded its participation in the World Muslim Scout Jamboree, held at the National Scout Camp in Cibubur, Jakarta, to mark the centenary of the founding of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was organized by the Universitas Darussalam Gontor (Darussalam Gontor Institute for Modern Islamic Education), the World Islamic Union of Scouts and Youth (WIUSY), and the Indonesian Scout Movement.
The Saudi delegation, comprising 41 members including young men, women, and leaders from various sectors of the association, represented the Kingdom in a series of cultural and scouting activities. These included cultural exchange shows, the Islamic Youth Festival, adventure programs, and leadership competitions designed to foster teamwork, responsibility, and cooperation.
The association emphasized that this participation reflects its commitment to developing youth capabilities, strengthening the presence of Saudi scouts in international forums, and highlighting the Kingdom's role in supporting the global scouting movement.
