Riyadh: The Saudi science and engineering team has completed its final preparations for the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), set to open on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, and running through May 16. The 40-member team, comprised of male and female students, will present their projects across a variety of advanced scientific fields.
According to Saudi Press Agency, final training took place at the team's headquarters, where students honed their skills and prepared to showcase their research at the world's largest pre-university science and engineering forum. Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education, has been a consistent participant in the ISEF since 2007. Over the years, the Kingdom has earned a total of 160 awards, including 110 grand prizes and 50 special awards.
Projects in ISEF are evaluated by a panel of international scientists and experts, offering students a global stage to present their work and demonstrate their scientific capabilities.
