Saudi Rapid Intervention Teams Save Pilgrim’s Life After Heart Attack During Hajj Rituals

Makkah: Rapid intervention teams, part of the urgent care system within the Saudi Model of Care, saved the life of a pilgrim from Bangladesh who suffered a heart attack while performing the stoning ritual.

According to Saudi Press Agency, ambulance teams swiftly transported him to Al-Noor Specialized Hospital, a member of Makkah Health Cluster, where he underwent emergency cardiac catheterization.

The Ministry of Health praised the efficiency and readiness of medical teams during the Hajj season, affirming that coordination between ambulance and hospital staff played a key role in saving pilgrims' lives.
