Saudi Physics Team Wins 6 International Awards at the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad

Dhahran: The Saudi physics team won six international awards at the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO), including two bronze medals and four certificates of appreciation. The 25th edition of APhO, hosted by the Kingdom in Dhahran from May 4 to 12, saw the participation of 240 students from 30 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia's participation is part of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity's (Mawhiba) program for international Olympiads, which is a result of the collaborative efforts between Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education.

This follows intensive preparation, during which the participating students received thousands of training hours at Mawhiba.
