Riyadh: The Saudi Media Forum convened the first meeting of the "Media Ambassadors Initiative", launched in collaboration with the Joint Consultative Committee of Media Faculties and Departments at Saudi universities. The meeting was chaired by Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthy, CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, and attended by outstanding media students.
According to Saudi Press Agency, discussions focused on the forum's role in advancing the media industry, fostering the exchange of local and international expertise, and strengthening Saudi Arabia's media presence. The forum also emphasized its commitment to empowering young talent and equipping them to navigate the evolving media landscape.
The meeting highlighted the responsibilities of Media Ambassadors Initiative participants in promoting the Saudi Media Forum and the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) within their universities. Participants were encouraged to leverage the events, sessions, and meetings taking place alongside the exhibition and forum, scheduled from February 19 to 21.
FOMEX, the largest technical and media art exhibition in the Middle East, will spotlight cutting-edge innovations and experiences in the media industry.
