Riyadh: Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi met with Second Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) Julia Kronlid in Riyadh. The meeting was also attended by Secretary-General of the Shura Council Mohammed bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Ahmadi welcomed Kronlid and her accompanying delegation, emphasizing the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Sweden and exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration across various fields. She highlighted the Shura Council's commitment to fostering parliamentary relations with the Swedish Parliament to expand mutual understanding and cooperation, benefiting both nations and their peoples.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ahmadi underscored the Kingdom's achievements under Vision 2030, noting the significant progress made across all sectors and the transformative opportunities provided by its programs.
