General

Misk City: The Saudi Media Academy, based in Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, has launched its first training courses and programs for 2025, which include an accredited media planning course by ESCP and a training program designed to prepare athletes for media appearances.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the academy conducted the media planning course in-person, where participants were trained on the key stages of media planning. This included defining messages, analyzing target audiences, and measuring the effectiveness of media campaigns. Participants gained tools and techniques essential for effective media communication, such as the use of artificial intelligence tools, and were empowered to innovate in campaign design and performance evaluation.

The program designed for athletes focused on steps for effective media appearances, stages of media engagement, public speaking principles, and practical examples and exercises on media interviews.

Furthermore, the academy is set to launch a new training course on mastering negotiation and influence, accredited by the University of Massachusetts, at the end of January. This course will consist of 83 recorded lectures, 12 discussion sessions, nine applied projects, and guidance from two expert advisors. It aims to enhance participants' skills and strategies for managing negotiations with efficiency and professionalism.

As the training arm of the Ministry of Media, the Saudi Media Academy is dedicated to developing skilled media professionals. It offers advanced training opportunities and specialized programs that meet global standards, supporting the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 to establish the Kingdom as a global hub for innovation and research.
