Damascus: Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih arrived in Damascus today, leading a Saudi delegation of over 150 individuals from the government and private sectors, including business leaders across various economic fields. The visit aims to strengthen economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to Saudi Press Agency, upon arrival, the delegation was received by Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, Minister of Energy Eng. Mohammed al-Bashir, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdul Salam Haykal.
Also present to greet the delegation were Saudi Ambassador to Syria Faisal Al-Mujfel, Saudi embassy staff, and several officials from the Syrian government and private sectors.
The visit underscores the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the Syrian economy and strengthening economic ties, considering the historical and fraternal relations between the two governments and their brotherly peoples.
