Riyadh: The fourth edition of the Saudi Games will not take place this year, as announced by the Supreme Organizing Committee. This decision was communicated through an official circular sent to the participating sports federations and clubs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the decision to postpone the games is aimed at creating an ideal competitive environment for athletes. It will also enable national team players to prepare optimally for upcoming sports events, enhancing both their technical and physical readiness.
The postponement provides Saudi Arabia with the opportunity to focus on preparing for key international competitions. These include the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which the Kingdom is set to host in November, the World Games in China scheduled for August, and the third Asian Youth Games in Bahrain in October.
The organizing committee has stated that the new date for the next edition of the Saudi Games will be announced at a later time.
