Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated on Monday in the ministerial meeting held by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York City and attended by officials from both sides and by GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi, tackled advancing cooperation between the GCC and Caribbean states in various fields and reviewed the latest developments in regional and international arenas, and efforts made to address them.
It also highlighted the significance of strengthening coordination to boost international security and peace, and reviewed the efforts undertaken by both sides toward achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
