Riyadh, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Defense, received a telephone call from British Secretary of State for Defense Grant Shapps.
The two ministers reviewed the strategic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom and discussed bilateral cooperation in the defense field.
They also addressed the ongoing military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings.
In this context, Prince Khalid emphasized the imperative need to persist in de-escalating the situation in Gaza, ceasing military operations to protect innocent lives, and respect and adhere to international humanitarian law.
He underscored that this is vital for restoring security and stability for the brotherly Palestinian people.
