Riyadh: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced the latest ranking for men's club competitions (2024-2025), following the season's conclusion. Saudi clubs topped the overall ranking with 119.957 points, followed by Japanese clubs in second place with 107.663 points.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi clubs claimed the top spot after Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr all advanced to the semifinals of the AFC Champions League Elite, with Al-Ahli securing their first-ever title earlier this month.

Regarding slot allocations for the 2026-2027 AFC club competitions season, Saudi clubs earned three direct slots in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite and one slot in the AFC Champions League 2.
