Washington: Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors Chief Executive and Global Audit Committee Center Board Chairman Abdullah Saleh Alshebeili inaugurated the global audit committees center's operations in Washington.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in attendance were U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly, U.S. Representatives Don Beyer and Ryann Mackenzie, and a distinguished group of audit committee chairs and members from around the world.
The launch marks a significant milestone in advancing corporate governance, strengthening the effectiveness of audit committees, and promoting the exchange of professional expertise at the international level.
The center aims to support best practices in auditing, governance, compliance, and risk management through specialized training programs, applied studies and research, and the development of strategic partnerships with professional, academic, and regulatory institutions worldwide.
