Riyadh: With the support of its leadership, the Kingdom is advancing the health recovery process in Syria by harnessing digital solutions for global healthcare, enabling Syrian doctors in the Kingdom to treat their compatriots through the digital link between Seha Virtual Hospital and the Syrian Ministry of Health.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative has successfully addressed two medical cases. The first involved a 35-year-old patient with a severe heart attack, where Dr. Imad Ahmed Ibrahim, a cardiology consultant with over 20 years of experience in the Kingdom, led a joint medical committee to make an immediate treatment decision.
In the second case, Dr. Hassan Ramadan, an internal medicine consultant with over 50 years of practice, provided prompt consultation to a Syrian woman in Damascus with Crohn's disease and developed a comprehensive treatment plan.
This connection highlights the capabilities of Seha Virtual Hospital, the largest virtual hospital in the world, as recognized by Guinness World Records, and is linked to over 230 hospitals in 10 countries. The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes health sector development and digital empowerment.
