Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the recognition of the State of Palestine by the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Portugal, noting that it reflects the serious commitment of these friendly countries to supporting the peace process and advancing a two-state solution based on relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom looks forward to additional countries recognizing the State of Palestine and taking further positive steps that contribute to fulfilling the Palestinian people's aspirations to live in peace on their land, while enabling the Palestinian Authority to carry out its duties toward a future defined by security, stability, and prosperity.
