Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Sport and Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) President Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, the Kingdom will host the IPSC Shooting Championship December 4 to 6.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will be supervised by the Saudi Shooting Federation and organized by Myadeen Sports LLC, with an official delegation from the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC). The championship will take place in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The championship will feature around 200 shooters representing 16 countries, including top international athletes, alongside anticipated participation from Saudi shooters. The event is set to attract extensive media coverage and the attendance of shooting enthusiasts and practitioners.
The championship will be conducted according to the highest international safety standards, applying IPSC regulations and providing a professional environment that allows local shooters to compete alongside top international athletes.
It will be overseen by 12 international referees and 20 local referees, trained domestically to the highest technical standards and certified programs to ensure fair and disciplined competition.
