Riyadh: The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) will participate in the IPM Essen, the world's leading horticulture trade fair in Germany from January 28 to 31, to highlight Saudi Arabia's efforts in advancing agriculture, supporting farmers, and promoting local rural products in international markets.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program will also spotlight its pioneering efforts in rural community development, underscoring its achievements and comprehensive support for small farmers. It will further focus on strengthening partnerships and fostering collaborations with experts in the field.
Saudi Reef Assistant Secretary General for Media and Communication Majed Al-Buraikan said that the participation aims to attract foreign investment, strengthen international cooperation, and support the growth of the Saudi agricultural sector, aligning with the objectives of Vision 2030 to diversify the economy, boost food security, and elevate the Kingdom's standing in the global agricultural sector.
He noted that the event provides a valuable opportunity to explore the latest agricultural innovations and solutions that can benefit small farmers in Saudi Arabia.
IPM Essen brings together over 1,600 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest solutions for sustainable agricultural production. It features conferences and workshops addressing challenges and opportunities in the sector, making it an ideal global platform for knowledge exchange and the presentation of products and services related to horticulture and agriculture.
