Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan Explore Enhanced Security Cooperation

Riyadh: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held a meeting today with Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Sagimbayev. At the outset, Prince Abdulaziz welcomed Sagimbayev and his accompanying delegation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister noted that the meeting was held in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the aim of enhancing security cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan. He emphasized the strong and brotherly relations between the two countries.

Prince Abdulaziz underscored the importance of ensuring security and stability and combating all threats to uphold international peace and security. He affirmed that the meeting reflects the two sides' commitment to strengthening security coordination and cooperation.

The two officials discussed ways to bolster security collaboration and reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.
