New delhi: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federative Republic of Brazil have formalized a partnership agreement aimed at advancing their digital economies and fostering collaboration in emerging technologies. The agreement, which underscores joint investments in innovation, was signed by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha and Brazil's Minister of Communications Frederico de Siqueira Filho. This significant development took place during the G20 Digital Economy Ministerial Meeting chaired by South Africa.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Alswaha engaged in a series of bilateral meetings to bolster international partnerships. His discussions with the Brazilian minister were centered around exploring opportunities in research and development of modern technologies. These efforts are anticipated to support innovation while enhancing digital growth in both nations.
Additionally, Minister Alswaha met with China's Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng to explore further opportunities for collaboration in the digital economy sector.
