SAL Agrees SAR123 Million Deal to Acquire Aviapartner Liège

Riyadh: SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Aviapartner Belgium NV and Aviapartner Holding NV to acquire a full 100% stake in Aviapartner Liège SA. The transaction, valued at approximately SAR123 million, will be completed in cash upon closing, contingent upon customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals. According to Saudi Press Agency, Aviapartner Liège SA, located in Liège, Belgium, specializes in ground handling and cargo services. This acquisition marks a significant step in SAL's strategic plan for international expansion, offering a direct operational foothold in one of Europe's prominent air cargo hubs. The acquisition aims to widen SAL's range of cargo handling and logistics services at international airports, diversify its revenue streams, and create operational synergies. This move will grant SAL access to advanced infrastructure and established airline relationships within a well-developed operational environment .
