Riyadh: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) has revealed its collaboration with Kingdom Schools to establish the first educational facility with a design identity rooted in traditional Saudi arts, set to commence this October. Wrth students will participate in the project by integrating artistic elements into the school's educational and administrative infrastructure, merging contemporary design with traditional art.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Kingdom Schools is renowned for its pioneering curriculum and comprehensive educational environment. The expansive campus spans more than 130,000 square meters and features eight buildings, accommodating around 3,000 students and boasting over 4,000 alumni.
Wrth has made significant contributions to education and culture through the introduction of eight academic programs, offering diplomas and master's degrees, including the groundbreaking master's in digital heritage, a first in the Arab world. The institute has provided over 400 short courses, reaching more than 5,600 students, and conducted 1,000 workshops. Additionally, Wrth has organized 350 community events both domestically and internationally and established 58 local and international partnerships to enhance the global presence of traditional arts.
