Cairo: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites participated in the World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Egypt, showcasing its efforts to develop Makkah into a sustainable city. The commission highlighted its work in improving transportation networks, infrastructure, and services. According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum, organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), drew representatives from over 182 countries.
