Riyadh: Details of AlUla Tour 2026, one of the world's most prominent cycling races, will be announced tomorrow during a press conference to be held in Riyadh. The event will take place in the presence of representatives of the organizing entities, local and international partners, as well as local and global media.
According to Saudi Press Agency, AlUla Tour 2026 will take place in AlUla Governorate from January 27 to 31, 2026. The race is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation in cooperation with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
The tour is considered a key stop on the global professional cycling calendar following its classification as a 'Pro.2' race within the UCI ProSeries category. The event will feature the participation of the Saudi national team alongside a select group of elite international teams and riders. Competitors will race across five diverse stages that combine speed, climbing, and open-road routes, offering a unique sporting experience set amid one of the world's most distinctive natural and historical destinations.
The upcoming press conference will present the overall vision for the 2026 edition, the race routes, and the most prominent participating teams. It will also highlight the event's impact on the development of cycling in the Kingdom and its role in strengthening AlUla's position as a global destination for hosting major sporting events.
Since its inaugural edition in 2020, AlUla Tour has successfully established its presence on the international cycling map.
