Riyadh: The Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center conducted more than 34,000 inspection tours during September 2025 across project sites in Riyadh city and the region's governorates. The center also received over 17,000 reports of unauthorized works and recorded more than 4,600 violations of infrastructure project regulations and requirements.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the violations included a lack of cleanliness at work sites during and after execution, failure to install warning lights along the entire length of traffic diversions, non-compliance by contractors in displaying the service entity's logo, the contractor's logo, and details on temporary barriers, failure to renew or extend licenses for infrastructure project works, and stockpiling materials outside the licensed work areas.
Through these inspection tours, the center aims to raise compliance levels, ensure adherence to technical standards for infrastructure projects, and enhance their quality and safety, contributing to the sustainability of infrastructure across all governorates of Riyadh Region.
The center continues its inspection efforts as part of its drive to promote compliance, develop infrastructure project works in the region, enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors, improve the urban landscape, and contribute to greater efficiency in public spending.
