Riyadh: As part of the Cultural Investment Conference, organized by the Ministry of Culture at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, a plenary was held today under the theme 'Global Culture: Influence, Capital and Cohesive Power.'
According to Saudi Press Agency, the session featured Deputy Minister of Culture for Strategies and Policies, Albara Al-Auhali, as well as several other notable figures. Opening the session, Al-Auhali emphasized the role of culture in addressing global challenges and crises, describing it as a unifying force that fosters cooperation, rebuilds trust among societies and nations, and drives creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
He also highlighted the economic dimensions of culture, noting that estimates indicate it contributes around 3% of global gross domestic product (GDP), equivalent to $2.3 trillion, while generating millions of jobs, primarily for young people.
