River nile: Minister of Social Affairs in Sudan's River Nile State Dr. Tahani Mirghani praised the continued humanitarian support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly during times of crisis and humanitarian disasters.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in remarks made during the launch of a project to distribute 1,000 food baskets to the most vulnerable groups in the state, implemented by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, she commended the assembly's significant role in alleviating the humanitarian suffering caused by the events in Sudan and the resulting food shortages. The minister also praised the Kingdom's diverse development initiatives spanning health, education, youth, and relief sectors.
Mirghani stressed that these efforts embody the essence of humanitarian solidarity in its finest form.
