Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's Qiwa platform has become a primary interface for the Kingdom's labor sector, serving as a key tool for digital empowerment. The platform, with its modern concept, aims to boost efficiency, save time, increase transparency, and support business growth.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the platform's growth indicates its widespread use, with more than 14.5 million registered users and over 1.4 million registered establishments. During the first half of 2025, over one million new users joined the platform, and 302,000 new establishments were registered.
Qiwa has documented 11 million employment contracts since its launch, with four million of those documented this year, reflecting growing confidence in the digital work environment.
In the first half of 2025, the platform issued 450,000 Saudization certificates and streamlined various processes, including 220,000 salary identification certificates, 1.5 million service transfer requests, 40,000 temporary work visas for Hajj and Umrah services, 191,000 profession change requests, and 247,000 profession correction operations. The platform has also reduced the time required for visa cancellations by 50%.
Today, Qiwa represents a pioneering model for transforming the Saudi labor market, embodying Saudi Vision 2030's goal of creating a flexible, attractive, and sustainable labor market where individuals and organizations are active partners in economic development.
