New York, – HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations (UN) Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE Executive Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Catherine Russell at the United Nations headquarters.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the UNICEF. In addition, they discussed the deteriorated of humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, the necessity for the Security Council to assume its responsibilities toward establishing a ceasefire and the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid.
