Buraidah: Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz is set to attend the Klija Festival 16 in Buraidah today. This festival, organized by the Qassim Chamber, showcases economic activities, tourism attractions, and entertainment offerings that bolster the region's vitality. Of particular note are the local and beloved culinary delights, featuring the Klija pastry.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during his visit, the governor will explore the festival's offerings, including handicrafts, textiles, artworks, and local delicacies made by over 250 families involved in cottage industries and artisans. He will also witness various events and programs featuring food and marketing options from participating companies and booths representing government and private entities.
The festival will include traditional performances from Gulf countries like the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
In a statement, the chairman of the Qassim Chamber, Ali Al-Muqbil, highlighted the governor's support, the festival's past achievements, and its continued success in the present year.
