Public Security Director Unveils New E-Services on ‘Absher’ Platform

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Director of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami launched new Public Security services via the Ministry of Interior's digital platform 'Absher'. This event took place during the Digital Transformation Forum (Technology and the Future) held at the Public Security headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the launch introduced new e-services on the 'Absher Individuals' platform, including a vehicle ownership transfer service to establishments and services related to air guns, such as ownership transfer and license renewal.

Additionally, the 'Absher Business' platform saw the introduction of several new services. These include an accident report service and services related to rock cutting, such as the cancellation of rock cutting material use permits, cancellation of rock disposal and transport permits, and the addition of new materials to usage permits.

These initiatives are part of the Ministry of Interior's ongoing efforts to foster digital transformation and enhance the quality of life for citizens, residents, and visitors. The aim is to provide automated services that streamline procedures, save time and effort, and eliminate the necessity for in-person visits to security sector offices.
