Prophet’s Mosque Enhances Accessibility for Elderly, People with Disabilities

Riyadh: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque: is providing specialized field and technical services to ensure that people with disabilities and the elderly can worship in a safe and accessible environment.

According to Saudi Press Agency, to facilitate movement, the Prophet's Mosque is equipped with designated restrooms, entrance ramps, and electric carts in the courtyards. Directional signs are placed at all vital locations to ease entry and exit, supported by 24-hour field service stations.

The authority also provides special religious resources, including Braille copies of the Quran and sign language interpretation for the Friday sermon. These comprehensive provisions ensure easy access to all service facilities, including zamzam water stations.
