Riyadh: Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen, the spouse of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, honored the winners of the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman Award for Women's Excellence in its seventh edition on Wednesday evening.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the awards were presented in six "theoretical" and "applied" fields during a ceremony hosted by Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University. The ceremony recognized the accomplishments of Saudi women across various domains.
In the field of health sciences, Princess Mashael bint Saud Al-Shalan was the recipient of the award. Dr. Thamraa bint Mohammed Al-Shahrani was celebrated for her contributions to natural sciences, while Dr. Al-Jawhara bint Mahmoud Hamza was honored in the social work category.
Sarah bint Jammaz Al-Suhaimi was awarded for her achievements in economic projects, and Marzouka bint Faddi Al-Urmani was recognized for her artistic work. The award for humanities studies was presented to Dr. Hend bint Turki Al-Sudairi.
The Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman Award for Women's Excellence is an annual event hosted by Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, established by a Cabinet decision. The award aims to highlight the achievements of Saudi women, recognize outstanding contributions, promote innovation, and encourage the next generation of women to participate in comprehensive development.
