Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University Named Among World’s Top 100 in 2025 THE Impact Rankings


Riyadh: Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) has achieved a major milestone by entering the top 100 universities globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. The university ranked 98th among 2,526 universities from 130 countries.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the results were based on a comprehensive assessment of the university’s performance. This included its active participation in scientific research addressing societal and environmental problems; its leadership in community engagement and responsiveness to both local and global needs; its effectiveness in raising awareness and disseminating knowledge related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); and its integration of sustainability principles into academic programs and curricula.



This remarkable progress-ranking fourth among participating Saudi universities-reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to support academic and research excellence, consolidating its position as a leading global destination for higher education and innovation.
