Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Highlights Role of Guidance and Counseling in Hajj Preparations

Makkah: His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, met with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Saadan, Director General of the General Department of Guidance and Counseling at the Ministry of Interior, along with the department's staff at the ministry's headquarters in Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the commitment of the leadership to serving Islam and Muslims, highlighting the pride and honor felt by Saudis for the leadership's efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques. He praised the guidance and awareness-raising roles of the General Department of Guidance and Counseling and its impact on enhancing the performance and morale of security personnel.

Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Saadan, in his speech, acknowledged the support from Prince Abdulaziz and outlined the department's plan for this year's Hajj. The plan focuses on showcasing the Kingdom's efforts in serving pilgrims and the responsibilities of security personnel in achieving this goal.

Prince Abdulaziz was also briefed on the programs implemented by the General Department of Guidance and Counseling and the security sectors during Hajj 1446 AH. The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Acting Deputy Minister of Interior, and other senior representatives from the Ministry of Interior.
