Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has planned to empower women staff in its religious services for the upcoming Hajj season 1445 AH. This decision aligns with Sharia guidance and aims to serve the pilgrims and spread the message of the Two Holy Mosques globally. The Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, mentioned that the presidency is dedicated to expanding women's roles in religious sectors as part of its future strategy. This expansion is intended to enhance performance in religious specializations, maintain high standards of quality, creativity, and religious excellence, and provide an environment suitable for women's privacy. The goal is to enable women to serve female pilgrims, enrich their experience, and spread the religious message of the Two Holy Mosques globally. The participation of Saudi women in women's agencies is expected to support the religious presidency's plan for the Grand Mo sque during the Hajj season of 1445 AH. This participation aims to qualitatively improve the religious services provided to women, create a conducive devotional environment in the Two Holy Mosques, and enrich their experience in religious, scientific, cognitive, cultural, and awareness-raising aspects. Additionally, it aims to enable the performance of religious services in privacy and benefit from them optimally. Source: Saudi Press Agency
