Mina: Pilgrims participating in this year's Hajj successfully performed the stoning ritual at Jamarat al-Aqaba after arriving in Mina, marking the commencement of the Days of Tashreeq. The journey from Muzdalifah to Mina was characterized by the implementation of comprehensive organizational and service plans facilitated by an integrated operational system.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these plans were executed through coordination among multiple security and service agencies, ensuring a disciplined and organized experience for the pilgrims. The system utilized modern technical tools and operational models, which effectively managed crowd flows while considering the diverse backgrounds of the pilgrims.
The transportation infrastructure played a crucial role, with the Holy Sites Train transporting over 604,000 pilgrims across three main movements. Movement C recorded the highest number of passengers, highlighting the operational efficiency of the system. Additionally, more than 23,000 buses operated across three frequency routes, supported by traditional transportation methods, achieving record times for the Ifadah operation.
In terms of health services, the Ministry of Health provided over 125,573 services, including advanced medical procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and open-heart surgeries. These services were efficiently delivered by skilled Saudi medical personnel, demonstrating the robust health readiness and capability of national medical teams.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reported the use of over 5.5 million electronic reading operations for the "Nusuk" card, enhancing organizational safety. The Center for the Care of the Guests of God provided more than 310,000 services, including inquiries and support, and conducted over 65,000 inspection tours to ensure compliance and quality of service.
These efforts reflect the high level of coordination among various entities involved in Hajj, aligned with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This strategic vision aims to modernize the Hajj system, leverage technology, and ensure a safe, organized environment for pilgrims to perform their rituals in accordance with international standards.
