Paris: OpTic Gaming won the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 title at the 2026 Esports World Cup, retaining its crown for the second consecutive year after defeating Team Heretics 5-3 in the grand final held in the French capital, Paris.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this marks the second time that OpTic Gaming has reached the podium and won the Esports World Cup title. The team defeated Vancouver Surge in the 2025 edition's grand final after overcoming Team Heretics on its way to the title, setting up another encounter with the same team in the 2026 final in Paris.
OpTic Gaming received the tournament's top prize of $600,000, while Team Heretics earned $320,000 for finishing second, in addition to 750 points in the Club Championship standings.
