OIC Submits Written Submissions to International Court of Justice

The Hague: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has submitted written statements to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding the advisory opinion on Israel’s obligations pertaining to the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations, and third states in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the OIC emphasized the importance of legal efforts to address Israel’s actions as the occupying power and its illegal measures that have prevented the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) from fulfilling its mandate in the occupied Palestinian territories since January 30, 2025. The organization reaffirmed its unwavering support for UNRWA, which was established by a United Nations General Assembly resolution to serve Palestinian refugees until a just and lasting solution to their cause is achieved.
