Abidjan: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched a training program today aimed at curbing terrorism financing operations in Abidjan, C´te d'Ivoire. The program, titled "Countering Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering," seeks to address financial crimes that contribute to global security threats.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by the Republic of C´te d'Ivoire Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization, Ibrahim Kalil Konat©, alongside IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi. The initiative marks the first strategic effort of its kind implemented in Abidjan, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of participants from various relevant institutions.
The program is structured to include intensive courses and workshops led by international experts. It provides an in-depth review of international laws related to combating money laundering and terrorism financing. This initiative aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively tackle the challenges associated with these financial crimes.
