The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissain Brahim Taha, received in Jeddah today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Janet Alberda.
During the meeting, they dealt with prospects for relations between the OIC and Netherlands and ways to enhance dialogue and cooperation.
The two sides discussed several issues of common concern, especially the repeated crime of desecration and burning of copies of the Holy Qur’an in light of the outcomes of the 18th special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC, held on July 31.
